What We Believe

A summary of our beliefs, along the lines of the Apostles' Creed, is on the Homepage. The full statement of our beliefs is the Bible, but because every 'Christian' group claims to believe the Bible, it is necessary to have creeds to make clear our belief of what the Bible teaches. In the Free Presbyterian Church, the principal creed is the Westminster Confession of Faith, and every office-bearer in his ordination vows affirms that he believes all the statements of the Westminster Confession.

Westminster Confession of Faith
The Westminster Confession of Faith is the greatest of all the creeds of the Christian Church. Since its first publication in 1646 it has remained unsurpassed as an accurate and concise statement of Christian doctrine.
